Documentation for YouTube Importer - Video WordPress Plugin
You can opt for bulk imports through a variety of ways. Bulk imports are now possible through the YouTube user playlists, YouTube playlists and YouTube search queries. This plug-in is a real asset for video publishers.
It is up to you how you want to display the video in the blog post. If you wish not to make every element of the blog public then it is not a problem at all. You can easily set your video post to a private status so it would not display at the front-end. If you want to make your video post public then you need to select the Make video posts public option.
It is up to use to use the video as shortcodes as well in your blog post. Interestingly the video posts operate in WordPress just like normal blog posts so your post maybe in the pending or published status or you may save it as a draft. You need to make use of import status to set the status of bulk imported videos. Multiple options are available in this regard.

Installing YouTube Importer Manually
Installing the plugin can be done two ways. You can upload the plugin ZIP file using the built in WordPress plugin upload, or copy the files through an FTP client.
- Login to your WordPress admin.
- In the "Plugins → Add New" menu click the tab "Upload Plugin"
- Select the zipped plugin file from folder, "YouTube-Importer.zip", and click "Install Now"
- After installation you will receive a success message confirming your new install.
- Click the link "Activate"
- Login to your FTP server and navigate to your WordPress plugins directory. Normally this would be "wp-content/plugins"
- Unzip the files from the zipped.
- Open it and inside the wp-plugin folder find the folder "YouTube Importer" and upload it to your "wp-content/plugins" directory.
- After the files are finished uploading, login to your WordPress admin.
- In the "Plugins" menu click "Installed Plugins"
- Click "Activate" for the plugin "YouTube Importer"

- Import Categories: Select This Option if you want to import Categories from YouTube in auto import.
- Import Date: : Select This Option if you want to import Date from YouTube in auto import.
